The Twilight Saga is a love story between Bella Swan, a human and Edward Cullen, a vampire. At the heart of this series is what length you will go to to save the one you love. The plot will pull you into this series! I loved that the world building is inspired by ancient Rome. Their worlds collide and they help each other to achieve their goals. Elias is a soldier in the Empire’s military academy. Laia becomes a slave and acts as a spy to save her brother.
An Ember In The Ashes series by Sabaa Tahir. Maas world building is superb and I loved getting to know more about the Fae! This is fantasy at its best!ģ.

This series is exciting and full of action. And so begins her adventures in the world of Fae. Feyre is forced into going into faerie lands to save her family and herself. Maas.įeyre, a resourceful girl kills a wolf in the woods and discovers later that it’s not just a wolf but a faerie. A Court Of Thorns And Roses series by Sarah J. What an awesome series! Brilliantly written, with a great cast of characters, and a wonderful story line. This series is definitely a must read, and not just for young adults. Finding the king will grant Gansey one wish.

So without further ado, here are my top 5 young adult book series must read! I find that it can be a hit or miss with YA so I prefer to read books that have been recommended by people I know or highly rated on Goodreads. I do find that I tend to read YA that is in the science fiction or fantasy genre, not the contemporary or romance genre. Every few years I discover a new series that I absolutely love. I love to read Young Adult (YA) books and it’s great to find a good series to fall in love with.
